Description
Join us for an unforgettable day at Jawbone Marine Sanctuary, where we’ll learn, explore, and create unforgettable memories at the rockpools! This stunning sanctuary is the ideal setting to introduce children to the magical world of Victoria’s underwater life. With its crystal-clear, shallow waters, picturesque sandstone reefs, enchanting sea caves, and vibrant rockpools, Jawbone Sanctuary offers an incredible opportunity to discover the diverse marine life of Port Phillip Bay.
Our engaging hands-on workshop immerses kids in the experience of being a marine biologist for a day. Over the course of two hours, participants will explore the rockpools and take part in activities that emphasise sustainability and environmental awareness. Led by marine biologist Emma.
As a protected marine sanctuary, we are committed to safeguarding marine life and cleaning up any plastics we encounter. We kindly ask you to tread carefully and handle the rock pools gently, ensuring nothing is removed. If you spot any litter, we encourage you to pick it up or let us know—we always bring a bin to help keep the sanctuary clean. All materials for craft activities will be provided.
We look forward to an inspiring adventure together!
