Description
Dive into a full day of outdoor adventure at Plenty Gorge in South Morang, just 20km north of Melbourne. In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore the bush, discover winding creeks, and build their very own cubbies from natural materials. From climbing, balancing, and navigating the forest floor to games that spark imagination, children will develop bushcraft skills while connecting with nature. Perfect for young explorers eager to get muddy, adventurous, and completely immersed in the wild.

Our team of highly experienced forest school educators will support your child’s learning so that they become more confident, curious, and capable and are taught to learn how to take safe risks in the bush through climbing, building and using real tools. They will also discover and learn about our natural environment and it’s fascinating wildlife.
The forest school is led by Kirsty. Kirsty is a qualified primary school teacher who is passionate about child-led, nature-based education, bringing a gentle, empathetic, and curious approach to every learning experience
Forest school Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.
