These school holidays, get kids exploring the great outdoors with our Bush Survival Challenge! Children will immerse themselves in nature while learning practical survival skills in a safe and supportive environment.

In this hands-on workshop, kids will:

- Learn essential bushcraft skills such as building shelters, tying knots, and navigation
- Discover navigation techniques to find their way through the bush
- Develop teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience through interactive challenges
- Explore native plants, wildlife, and the natural environment around Arthurs Seat

This workshop is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and give children a deeper connection to nature—all while having fun and enjoying the fresh air. Perfect for young adventurers ready to take on the bush!

The forest school is held at Arthurs Seat Park

Forest School Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program, so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.

Ages: 4-10 years
