Description
Set along the banks of the Maribyrnong River at Brimbank Park, this adventurous school holiday program is all about hands-on building and bush engineering.
Children will learn traditional bushcraft and construction skills as they design and make their own mini bush boats using natural materials, experiment with knot-tying and ropes, and work together. With a strong focus on nature connection and practical outdoor skills, our Boats, Knots & Construction encourages creativity, resilience and teamwork while having fun in the bush.
This workshop is led by environmental educator Emma. This immersive environment is a fantastic way to boost mental health, enhance physical wellness, and strengthen relationships among families.
Don’t miss out on this adventure in nature! Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. We can’t wait to explore the bush with you!
Ages: 4 – 10 years
*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encouraged to join in on the fun.
