Did you know that there are seven seasons in the Kulin Nation season calendar? April to July are the coldest and wetest season with misty mornings and cold, rainy days. The days are short and nights are long. Wombats are seen during day seeking sunshine, as well as moths and fungi by the creek.
This Winter – Waring season scavenger hunt wheel is for children to use to to help them learn about and connect to the Kulin Nation seasons.
We hope that this season scavenger hunt helps children connect to the land and notice the environment and the things around them. You can find out more about the seven Kulin seasons go to Museums Victoria at museumsvictoria.com.au/forest/climate/kulin.html
