Come and join us for a creative afternoon at Ceres Environmental Park in Melbourne’s Brunswick East. We’ll be meeting at the African village and children will spend the afternoon sculpting and creating artwork from clay.
The children will be shown some basic techniques, including how to use nature patterns for design and prints and they will be each given a board to take their masterpiece home on. The possibilities for creativity are endless with clay, perhaps they will make some people and a home, or a castle and fort, or even flowers and bugs? We’ll be using natural materials to spark your child’s imagination and by the end of the session, they will have made something special. Each creation is unique and our facilitator Penny will support the process of making and connecting with your child throughout the session.
Our workshop facilitator Penny is a qualified primary school teacher and Eco Explorers playgroup facilitator who will offer plenty of opportunity for creative stories to spark your child’s imagination.
