Come and join us for a creative and fun workshop making Christmas nature crafts! This is an opportunity to get messy and enjoy a variety of nature-based and sensory play activities to prepare for the festive season.
Nature provides us with so many wonderful decorations and we’ll provide all the art and craft materials to make it happen. Our activities are aimed to encourage children to use their fine motor skills and strengthen muscles in their fingers which is needed for handwriting.
This workshop is being held at CERES Environmental Park in Brunswick East. An easy and handy inner north location with an organic market, a nursery, cafe, live music, a wonderful playspace and even community gardens for the whole family to enjoy.
During this session, we’ll be making nature-inspired bonbons and Christmas gift cards! Filled with little treasures from nature, the bonbons would not be complete with nature-inspired jokes for your family to enjoy!
A gift from your child to take home for your Christmas Day nature table.
These nature inspired decorations make a thoughtful and handmade gift for that special someone in your child’s life. Perhaps a grandparent, special Aunt/Uncle, teacher or friend. At Eco Explorers, we believe that children hold the future of the planet in their hands so we hope to inspire them to take care of it and respect it. We do our best to reduce our environmental impact by not using plastic and recycling, reusing and reducing our waste where possible.
Our programs aim to inspire creativity, a natural curiosity and enriching sensory play experience while following your child’s interests at all times. We also ensure that children learn to use their bodies so that they develop strength, good balance and coordination while learning to take safe risks with guidance and support from the educators.
