Summer days filled with sunshine, picnics with friends and rockpool exploration are a few of the highlights for our Mornington Peninsula beach playgroup program.

Join us on the Mornington Peninsula at Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary in Flinders for a weekly beach playgroup where we connect, play, learn and explore on the beach and amongst the stunning rockpools.  We provide a gentle rhythm to our facilitated playgroups with a focus on sensory play, storytelling, song, craft, learning, unstructured play and plenty of opportunities to build gross motor skills through climbing, balancing and movement

Mushroom Reef  Marine Sanctuary is the perfect location to go rockpooling with kids, famous for its diversity of marine life, including sheltered rock pools, coves and a shallow reef on the ocean side as well as sandstone rock platforms extending from the shore. Our Mornington Peninsula Beach Playgroup program is led by Nina, a qualified and experienced early childhood educator who is passionate about sustainability and supporting families to connect to our beautiful nature spaces. As a local Mornington Peninsula mum, Nina has extensive experience and training in marine life and local flora, fauna, as well as working with local Elders to care for country.

Mornington Peninsula Beach Playgroup an all weather outdoor program. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.
