Do you have a curious child? A child that loves ADVENTURE, CLIMBING, DIGGING, BUILDING and searching for CLUES? Then this workshop is just for you! Come along and see what our Eco Explorers bush program is all about!
We’ll go on a nature detective scavenger hunt, looking for clues to find the treasures hidden at Ceres! The children will be encouraged to use their bodies and pretend to be different animals, making sounds, bird calls and flapping their wings. We’ll head for a walk down to Merri creek and into the bush to explore and play. There will be games, activities and Adam will bring his collection of bones, snake skins, scats and bug collection to share with the group.
This workshop is being run by Adam.
Our workshop facilitator Adam is the founder of Eco Explorers and has been delivering bush programs to families for over two years. He spent his entire childhood living and camping in the bush; climbing mountains, exploring rivers, learning to fish, track, make fires and to simplify… just ‘being’ at one in nature. Adam now hopes to share his childhood & adult experiences with the next generation to inspire a deep connection with nature. He is also a forest school leader and has a background in Outdoor Education.
Ages: 3 – 8 years
