Join us for a day in the bush connecting to nature and learning bush survival and bushcraft skills with Eco Explorers founder and rewilding dad, Adam !
This special Father’s Day event is for all the wonderful dads (& Grandfathers, Uncles, brothers) out there. A chance to connect with your child in nature, to slow down and enjoy the simpler things in life; Connecting, learning traditional bush crafts skills, using tools to build and construct boats and heading to the magnificent river to sail them!
This workshop includes:

- Learn bush survival skills such as navigation, how to stay safe in the bush.
- Bush walk through Pound Bend Reserve learning about the flora & fauna.
- Use tools to build & construct boats.
- Head down to the river for an afternoon of bushcraft activities and nature connection games.

Located at Pound Bend Reserve, in Warrandyte located 24km north-east of Melbourne.
This workshop is run by Adam, the founder of Eco Explorers who has been delivering bush programs to families for over 8 years. He spent his entire childhood living and camping in the bush; climbing mountains, exploring rivers, learning to fish, track, make fires, and survive in the Australian bush. He is also a forest school leader and has a background in Outdoor Education.
Forest School Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.
Children ages: 4-14 years
Parents are responsible for their children.
