‘We’re going on a bug hunt, we’re going to find some small ones…’
Do you have a child that LOVES bugs? Going on adventures and learning all about the fascinating crawly critters? Then this workshop is for them!
Join us at Gresswell Forest Reserve in Bundoora for our school holiday program where we will be going on a bug and nature detective scavenger hunt in the forest! The children will create their own mini-beast collage out of natural/recycled materials. There will be a bug game and investigation stations set up for learning. Also, plenty of opportunities to climb trees in the bush.
This workshop is run by Ting, a performer, yoga teacher and storyteller.
Eco Explorers is an all-weather outdoor program, so it is important to wear appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning, such as fire, storm, high temperatures, or strong wind.
Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).
*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encouraged to join in on the fun!Â
