Eco Explorers run this multi-aged Bush Playgroup through Craig Family Centre in Ashburton.

Date: Fridays 6th February 2026 to 27th March, 10 – 12pm

Please note, payment is made to the Craig Family Centre in Ashburton and is $30 per session so $240 for the 8 week term.

This free family-friendly Open Day invites you to explore the park, enjoy the outdoors and take part in activities for all ages.

bunjil nganga Parkland brings together three connected areas for the community to enjoy:
• Aboriginal Gathering Place
• Granite Hills Major Community Park
• bunjil nganga trail network
• You can enjoy the stunning views from the top of the hill across the surrounding landscape.
Highlights:
• First Nations performances, cultural workshops and art displays at the Aboriginal Gathering Place
• Live music and roving performers throughout the site
• Kids’ activities, face painting, art and sustainability activities near the playground
• Food trucks and picnic spaces to relax and enjoy the day
• A free shuttle bus to help people move between the Aboriginal Gathering Place and Granite Hills Major Community Park
