Description
Join us these school holidays for a creative morning surrounded by bushland at Wattle Park, Burwood, where children will make their own nature art prints using hammers to create gorgeous botanical designs and experiment with making their own natural paints.
This workshop is led by rewilding enthusiast Zoë, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Ecological Conservation and brings a passion for nature connection and hands-on outdoor learning.
Children will immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, gathering flowers, leaves, and other natural materials to create stunning eco prints on canvas. Once their artworks are complete, they’ll craft a stick frame using branches and handmade cordage, learning simple bushcraft skills and creative construction techniques.
There will also be plenty of time to explore the bush, enjoy games and adventure, and connect with others through play and discovery in nature. Children will leave feeling proud of their creations, inspired by the natural world, and full of new skills and confidence.
Ages: 4 – 8 years
*Parents must stay and supervise their children at all times.
