Description
Let’s get building in the bush! In this hands-on workshop, kids will work together to design and create their own cubbies using natural materials, ropes, and real tools. They’ll learn safe tool use, explore basic construction techniques, and practice teamwork and problem-solving as they bring their shelters to life.
Some of the other activities that the children may also do at forest school are;

Our team of highly experienced forest school educators will support your child’s learning so that they become more confident, curious, and capable and are taught to learn how to take safe risks in the bush through climbing, building and using real tools. They will also discover and learn about our natural environment and it’s fascinating wildlife.

Forest school Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.
