- Bush Walk: Embark on an adventure through lush forest trails, where we’ll explore the vibrant ecosystem of the Dandenong Ranges. Keep your eyes peeled for remarkable wildlife, including the enchanting lyrebirds known for their incredible mimicry!
- Lyrebird Discovery: Dive into the world of lyrebirds with fun games and activities that enable kids to observe and learn about these amazing birds. You will learn about their unique behaviours and their role in the forest ecosystem, seeing how they inspire the natural surroundings.
- Creative Nature Corner: Let your imagination soar! After our walk, children will have the opportunity to create their own artwork inspired by Lyrebirds and the beauty of the Dandenong Ranges. Using natural materials and recycled items, they’ll craft their own masterpieces to take home.

The bush kids workshop is run by Anne, a bush playgroup facilitator and early childhood educator who has been running programs in the Dandenong Ranges for 5 years and has extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna.
