Description
Join us in Term 2 2026, for our NEW Bundoora Forest School (8 weeks) at Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary, in Bundoora, on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People.
Our Forest School program incorporates hands-on activities, adventurous and risky play, and bush walks that connect to and teach about the local flora and fauna.
Some of the activities that will be included in our Forest School program are:

- Sustainability & Environmental Protection
- Bush walk learning about the local fauna and flora
- Rope knots, cordage and construction
- Fire skils and campfire cooking
- How to safely use tools (hammers, saws and drills ) and construct things out of wood
- Whittling with wood
- Snake awareness and bush safety
- Nature connection games
- Exploring the dry creek bed
- Ecological storytelling
- Creating, crafting, making art with natural materials

Our Forest School is facilitated by qualified primary school teacher, Kirsty.
Forest School is an all weather outdoor program and will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.
Ages: 4 – 8 years (drop off only session)
Our Forest School is open to kinder aged, primary school and homeschool children.
