Get ready for a morning of hands-on adventure in the bush, where creativity meets craftsmanship, where kids will learn to safely use real tools to build, create, and construct with natural materials. Guided by our experienced facilitator, they’ll gain confidence, practice problem-solving, and discover the joy of working with their hands in nature.
Perfect for curious and capable kids who love to build, tinker, and explore. This workshop invites children to slow down, connect deeply with the land, and bring their wild ideas to life.
The forest school is led by Emma. Emma grew up in a national park, fostering a deep-rooted love and respect for the bush, and now combines her passion for nature with expertise in wetland and bushland restoration, holding a Master of Environment and a Bachelor of Marine Biology.
Forest school Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.
