Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure as we explore the wonderful wetlands and learn about waterbirds and waterbugs at Royal Park in Parkville! This interactive workshop is designed for children, where they will dive into the fascinating world of ecosystems and animals that live in wetlands.
Activities include:

- Nature Walk: Explore the wetlands and the incredible wildlife that calls them home. We’ll take a bush walk through Royal Park, looking for water birds and tiny water bugs in their natural habitat.
- Water Bugs Lab: Using nets and magnifying glasses, children will observe and learn about the diverse life forms found in wetland water. They’ll uncover the secret lives of these little creatures and their importance to the ecosystem.
- Activity Corner: Get creative with nature! Kids will have the chance to make their own wetland habitat and creatures using natural and recycled materials to take home.
