Description

Discover the amazing world of sea creatures in this hands-on workshop! Children will learn all about marine animals, their habitats, and the unique ways they survive in the ocean.

Discover a variety of sea creatures and learn fun and fascinating facts about them, including how octopuses can change colour to hide, starfish can regrow arms, and crabs can walk sideways!

Next, dive into some messy fun and create your own clay sea creatures to keep.

Nestled in Beaumaris, in Melbourne’s south‑eastern bayside suburb. Rickets Point Marine Sanctuary is a protected marine sanctuary with sandstone reefs, intertidal rock platforms and rockpools, perfect for exploring underwater life in shallow waters.

This workshop is run by marine biologist Jordyn.

Eco Explorers is an outdoor program designed to be enjoyed in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately for the elements.
