Description
Dive into the fascinating world of rockpools! In this hands-on workshop, children will explore the hidden ecosystems along the shoreline and discover the amazing creatures that call rockpools home.
On return, children will create their own rockpool ecosystem to take home and continue learning about these incredible habitats!
This workshop encourages curiosity, observation, and respect for nature, giving kids the chance to connect directly with marine life and understand the delicate balance of coastal ecosystems. Perfect for young explorers ready for an adventure by the sea.
Nestled in Beaumaris, in Melbourne’s south‑eastern bayside suburb. Rickets Point Marine Sanctuary is a protected marine sanctuary with sandstone reefs, intertidal rock platforms and rockpools, perfect for exploring underwater life in shallow waters.
