Description

Join us for a full day of uninterrupted wild bush play by the river at Plenty Gorge in South Morang, just 20km north of Melbourne.

We’ll explore, create, and learn bush survival and bushcraft skills through hands-on activities that are fun and engaging and connect your child to nature in a deep and meaningful way. During this workshop, children will learn how to tie rope knots, use tools and build and construct boats to take out on the water.

Some of the other activities that the children may also do at forest school are;

    • Learn rope knots and construction.
    • Boat making & construction
    • Bush survival and snake safety.
    • Nature connection games
    • Eco art & craft

Our team of highly experienced forest school educators will support your child’s learning so that they become more confident, curious, and capable and are taught to learn how to take safe risks in the bush through climbing, building and using real tools. They will also discover and learn about our natural environment and it’s fascinating wildlife.

The forest school is led by Emma.

Forest school Melbourne is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing.  Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and severe wind.

Ages: 6-12 years

*This is a drop off session only. (Please contact us beforehand if your child has any additional requirements)
