Description
Join us these school holidays for an adventurous morning exploring, playing and learning outdoors in nature at Westerfolds Park, Templestowe.
Our programs teach essential bush survival and bushcraft skills through hands-on learning and nature-based activities that are fun and engaging, promote self-esteem, and confidence, build resilience and most importantly, encourage them to move and strengthen their bodies and connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way.
This hands-on workshop will teach children the basics of how to use some real tools to create all sorts of woodworking projects they can take home. Children will have access to a variety of natural timbers that vary in shape, textures and lengths for them to use.
Children leave feeling proud of their accomplishments and learning new skills and if you want to extend their learning, you can find further resources on our online store here.
This workshop is run by Bush Kids facilitator Kirsty.
Ages: 3 – 8 years
*Parents must stay and supervise their children at all times.
